Jonas G. Mikkelsen
Institutional Strategist & Builder
Jonas is a transformational strategist and institutional builder working across governance, business and philanthropy to advance the interests of future generations. He formerly served as Chief Impact Officer at the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies and continues to serve as a Fellow.
He is the architect and initiator of the Danish Coalition for Future Generations (Fremtidskoalitionen). He serves on boards and advisory bodies, including 21st Europe, an independent think tank developing institutional blueprints for Europe’s future, and advises senior leaders across intergovernmental organisations, philanthropic foundations, NGOs and international companies on embedding intergenerational and long-term thinking into decision-making.
His ability to connect perspectives and bridge sectors brings an integrative approach to the Executive Group, on which he has served since 2024.
